Beer Name: Believer
Style: Dark Mild
ABV: 3.4%
IBU: 29
Color: Dark. Like, yeah. Pretty dark.
Cheese Pairing: Bulgarian feta (brined, of course)
Food Pairing: Shrimp cocktail
Music Pairing (Jimbo's Choice): "Riddle of Steel, Pt. 1" by Elder
Music Pairing (Jared's Choice): "Harmony" by Clinic
Best Occasion to Drink: While romping around the living room with a buncha dogs.
Brewers' Notes: With fond memories, and the consistent urging of a friend of the brewery (hi Josh!) we sought to recapture the magic of one of our first-ever beers: Redeemer. It was intended as a dry stout, but wasn't nearly dark enough nor dry enough, so we slapped a new style on it ("dark mild", though we weren't sure if that was a real thing) and enjoyed the shit out of it anyway! This time around, after a volume tweak here and a one-for-one ingredient swap there, we've got a whole new beer (which is good, because the original name might have gotten us into legal trouble) that's a bit darker and a bit drier but still oh-so-drinkable. Enjoy!
