Beer Name: Green Smoothie
Style: Hop Stew IPA
ABV: 5.8%
IBU: 37
Color: Does "hazy" count as a color? No? Ok fine then, it's yellow. One of the good kinds of yellow.
Cheese Pairing: Laughing Cow.
Food Pairing: Fried chicken.
Music Pairing (Jimbo's Choice): "The Magnificent Seven" by The Clash
Music Pairing (Jared's Choice): "Too Many T Shirts" by Prizzy Prizzy Please.
Best Occasion to Drink: While trying to be as far away from Southie as you can get on St. Patrick's Day.
Brewers' Notes: We had a whole bunch o' inconveniently-sized bags of miscellaneous hops (a few ounces here, a partial pound there) and we got tired of counting them in our inventory every month so we took that mishmash o' hops and flung 'em everywhere we could think of (in the kettle, in the fermentor, in the air ducts. Wherever) and then dumped a bunch of other shit in there (as in, all those other ingredients that are supposed to go into a beer) and called it a day. The end result is a party for your tastebuds as all them hop flavors vie for your attention: citrusy, earthy, piney, herbal, pithy notes of stonefruit, the works. Voila, etc.
