"We got to dodge this crazy stigma that a bar is a bad place to spend your time. A bar is a place where drunk people smoke and say things they haven't thought about. This is a ‘public house,’ you know? It's kind of just a room where life happens, and you can eat tasty food and put back a few pints. It's like your childhood, but with pints." - Ray Smuckles

QUESTIONS WE GET ASKED A LOT
Do you serve food?
TL;DR: Yes! Kind of.
We've got a small but tasty selection of food available in the taproom - warm toasty stuff and other small snacks (we have a rotating selection of delicacies such as “cheez-flavored” crackers, fruit snacks in the shapes of unpopular cartoon characters, "irregular" chips, etc), and so on. Here's our current bar snack menu.
We also play host to a rotating variety of local vendor pop-ups - we do tasty things like pizza, pierogi, burgers, street food, cheese, waffles, and more! Check out our events page to see what's coming!
You're more than welcome to bring in your own grub or order for delivery as well! We've got lots of menus from our favorite local places!
Do you offer beer to go?
Sure do! We sell crowler-style cans and four packs through the taproom, and you can grab our barrel-aged and/or fancy goodies in 750mL bottles. 32oz and 64oz growler fills are available as well!
How much does a growler cost?
An empty glass growler (either size) costs $5; price for growler fills varies depending on the beer.
Do you fill growlers from other breweries?
MA law prohibits us from filling growlers from other breweries with our own beer (sad times!), so we only fill clean, empty Bone Up branded growlers or completely blank growlers . If you trade in a growler from another brewery, we'll sell ya a BUBco growler for 50% off!
Do you have a patio?
Yes! During the more temperate times of year (usually May through the end of October), we've got a shaded, dog-friendly patio with about two dozen seats. It's lovely!
Are you dog-friendly?
Well-behaved and leashed dogs are welcome on the patio!
Are kids allowed?
We try to be as family-friendly as possible! We don’t have the most sprawling taproom, and we can’t allow kids to sit at the bar, but we do what we can to help entertain the childrens! The tops of our tables are chalkboards if they (or you) want to draw all over ‘em; plus we’ve got water, light snacks (usually including something sweet), and a bucket o’ toys.
Can I rent the taproom for a private event?
Yes, you may! Our regular taproom is great for groups up to 50, and we have a side taproom that is well-suited for groups of 10-25. Shoot us an email at info@boneup.beer to request more information.
Are you wheelchair accessible?
The answer to this should be "of course we are, this isn't 1956," but nothing can be easy for us. The short answer is that yes, of course we are, but only through certain doors (all of which lead to roughly the same place in our weirdly cavernous lobby, so it's all good).
Do you have parking?
We have a parking lot with twentyish spaces in front of the brewery. There's also street parking available on Norman Street, Santilli Highway, and probably a couple of those side streets.
Can I get a tour of the brewery?
We’ve got a pretty small operation going, so we don’t have regularly scheduled tours. But if it ain’t too busy, and you ask nicely, Jared or Liz would be more than happy to take you ‘round back and show you our Palace of Science, our Farm of Fermentation, our Bastions of Barley!
Do you sell gift cards?
Sure!
