Beer Name: Meesh Meesh
Style: Grisette with pink guava and apricot
ABV: 4.4%
Color: mostly orangey with the slightest hint of pink
Cheese Pairing: Bulgarian feta
Food Pairing: Za'atar chicken
Music Pairing (Jimbo's Choice): "Cha Cha" by Balkan Beat Box
Music Pairing (Jared's Choice): "Terminal Jape" by Osees, Thee O Sees
Best Occasion to Drink: While plowing headfirst into the raw bar and hoping nobody sees you.
Brewers' Notes: we made this beer in collaboration with our old friend Avi who honestly has started up more restaurants and/or food trucks and/or beer trucks and/or "food concepts" (which may or may not be the same thing as "restaurants?" Unclear) than we can even keep track of, but the point is that they tend to center around fresh, local produce (and/or beer) combined on Israeli/Middle Eastern cuisine. So in that spirit, we grabbed up a buncha local grains and hops and tossed in some pink guava and some apricot (or, as it's known in Hebrew, meesh meesh) and brewed up this lightly-tart 'n tasty lil' grisette! L'chaim!
