Beer Name: Weird Moon
Style: IPA
ABV: 5.9%
Color: Same color as the honey moon
Cheese Pairing: Wild Alpine
Food Pairing: Carne asada
Music Pairing (Jimbo's Choice): "Bad Moon Rising" by CCR
Music Pairing (Jared's Choice): "Groovosaur" by Jurassic Leaf
Best Occasion to Drink: when you're outside late at night, taking a moment to enjoy the quiet
Brewers' Notes: Man, you ever think about how weird the moon is? Like, there's a dang rock in space that's always facing us and somehow it controls our oceans? Sometimes you gotta stare at the sky and think about the moon, you know? Anyway, now that the nights are getting warmer, we figured we'd brew up a beer made for sippin' on the patio while you watch the sun set and the moon rise. We paired up floral 'n fruity Masscade (from our friends at Four Star Farms) with orangey-ass Bergamot (from our new friends at Hang 'Em High Hops in Michigan) and some straight-up tropical Azacca (from... a hop broker somewhere. They can't all be Friendship Hops) and we took all them hops and threw 'em into a beer that's light 'n easy with just a *hint* of honey sweetness and dang but if it isn't delicious!
