Beer Name: Pounder
Style: Single Hop Pale Ale
ABV: 5.1%
IBU: 34
Color: Same color as your dirtbag neighbor's front yard (you know the one I mean. The one who never cuts his grass and then the first time there's a dry spell it all dies)
Cheese Pairing: Bijou
Food Pairing: Lobster. Like, way too much lobster.
Music Pairing (Jimbo's Choice): "We Gotta Have More Soul!" by Mojo Nixon and Skid Roper
Music Pairing (Jared's Choice): "Asteroid" by Killing Joke or "Hide in the Sky" by Knives Out!
Best Occasion to Drink: As you're trying to decide whether to go out or have a quiet night in.
Brewers' Notes: We're back with another single-hop pale ale, featuring - as always - a hop that doesn't always get as much love as we feel it deserves and this time around it's Green Bullet! This is our first time using a non-US-grown hop around here (even our Rakau and Magnum - usually from New Zealand and Germany, respectively - are domestic) but it's an old favorite and we just couldn't help but share the hoppy goodness with y'all! This beer has a nice biscuity backbone that plays quite nicely with the fruity earthiness brought by The Bullet, and we predict this is one you gon' enjoy. Cheers!
