Beer Name: Master of Extremity
Style: Pale Ale
ABV: 5.7%
Color: deep orange, like the embers of a fire that's long-since burned itself out
Cheese Pairing: Sharp gouda
Food Pairing: Cheesesteak with bacon
Music Pairing (Jimbo's Choice): "Master of Extremity" by Fuming Mouth
Music Pairing (Jared's Choice): "Beyond the Tomb" by Fuming Mouth
Best Occasion to Drink: while standing at the edge of the pit so the people behind you don't accidentally get pushed/punched in the head
Brewers' Notes: It's no easy task coming up with a beer to pair with a force of nature like Fuming Mouth, but we've trod this path before so we decided to draw some inspiration from some of the classics (namely the west coast pale ales we grew up on) and added our own kick to that idea by cramming a completely irresponsible amount of hops in there! Our first step was to grab some Chaos (a hop grown exclusively by our friends at Four Star Farms) and add in some cool cryo hops and layer that on a buncha local grains and just a dab of caramel malt and the end result is a very well-balanced kick in the teeth that'll keep you comin' back for more!
