Beer Name: Patio Weather
Style: Hoppy Session Ale
ABV: 4.9%
Color: Springtime Morning Mist (yellow)
Cheese Pairing: Chevre
Food Pairing: cucumber watercress sandwiches (ideally on a fresh baguette, even MORE ideally with some sopressata or speck on there too)
Music Pairing (Jimbo's Choice): "Infinite Mirror" by LITE
Music Pairing (Jared's Choice): "Shadows" by Sound of Smoke
Best Occasion to Drink: When you're "definitely not cold" and "down to stay outside a little longer"
Brewers' Notes: sometimes you just gotta have a nice 'n bright little session beer and by "sometimes" I mean "when it's fifty degrees out and you're sitting outside and wearing shorts, trying to will the universe into making it *actually* be warm out again, and you need a seasonally-appropriate beer to complete the illusion." Anyway there definitely wasn't anything even *remotely* along those lines in our minds when we brewed up a springtime-fresh little beer with a fruity little zip to it, but this beer just so *happens* to pair exquisitely with patio times, even when the weather might not totally agree, and it's just as good when you give up and go sit inside where it's warm and stare longingly out the window. Enjoy!
