Beer Name: Triple Pearl
Style: Pale Ale with Orange Peel
ABV: 5.1%
Color: Aged parchment
Cheese Pairing: Camembert
Food Pairing: Roast goose
Music Pairing (Jimbo's Choice): "Sheena is a Punk Rocker" by the Ramones
Music Pairing (Jared's Choice): "Nature" by Sleep D
Best Occasion to Drink: While you're in a heated argument about ranch dressing
Brewers' Notes: We got our grubby little paws on some new-to-us hops, specifically Michigan-grown Triple Pearl (which is not - as far as we know - related to Perle, which is a German hop. Language can be fun! Except this time it's not), and what better way to get to know a new hop than to build a beer around it? Anyway, we thought that sounded like a dandy idea, and we were maybe feelin' a bit saucy on brewday so we also figured that a hop that supposedly tastes like orange peel might pair well with some actual orange peel, so we threw some of that in there too! Anyway, now we've got this dry-yet-quenching, lightly-citrussy pale ale and we daresay you'll enjoy it!
