Beer Name: Late Grain
Style: Grisette
ABV: 4.6.%
Color: So pale. It's, like, the palest.
Cheese Pairing: Gruyere
Food Pairing: I always want to write "meatball sub" because apparently meatball subs are my platonic ideal of a food to pair with beer? Anyway, escargots à la bourguignonne.
Music Pairing (Jimbo's Choice): "Gunpowder" by Black Joe Lewis & The Honeybears
Music Pairing (Jared's Choice): "Roly Poly" by The Little Willies
Best Occasion to Drink: Go karts.
Brewers' Notes: It's been a minute since we featured malts from the fine folks over at Two Track Malting, so we ordered up a whole mess o' grain and wrote up a recipe and... then nothing happened for several months because apparently the truck carrying our grain got into an accident? And the shipping company didn't seem to think that this information was pertinent to us? So they didn't tell us? Anyway, after an extended stint at a DOT holding facility, we got them grains and now you can test drive that ol' Two Track in the form of this tasty lil' grisette which, of course, proudly features a heapin' helpin' o' hops (specifically Rakau, the prodigal hop) from our friends just up the street at Four Star Farms!
