Beer Name: I See a Dankness
Style: IPA
ABV: 6.6%
Color: Copper, bordering on amber (the way IPA used to be way back in the good old days)
Cheese Pairing: Edam
Food Pairing: Cubano pastelito
Music Pairing (Jimbo's Choice): "I See a Darkness" as performed by Johnny Cash
Music Pairing (Jared's Choice): "I See a Darkness" as performed by Johnny Cash
Best Occasion to Drink: As you slowly come to terms with the realization that 2013 was not, in fact, "a couple years ago."
Brewers' Notes: Every so often we get a hankerin' for a good old fashioned Classic American IPA like what we were drinking back when we were a bit more fresh-faced and full of wonder or whatever. You know, a dank 'n' resiny beer full of citrus and pine, harkening back to a time that we generally consider to be "pretty recently" but which was actually about a decade ago? We miss beers like that, so we made one! They don't make 'em like they used to, except that's not true because we totally just did.
