Brewers' Notes: we've been having Organ Meats play at our anniversary party and we (they) figured it was about time we "mix things up" a bit, so we took a well-worn classic style and gave it the ol' Bone Up razzle dazzle! We gathered up a buncha local grains (including some "crystal naked oats" which are downright fantastic) and added a pinch of some fruity-floral hops and then we let our house yeast (whose name is Carl, by the way) do its thing and now we've got this tasty-ass beer that we can't hardly put down! It might not be "true to style" but we figure that if the folks in Organ Meats don't sweat styles too much in their music, we should follow suit with their beer! Cheers!
