Music Pairing (Jared's Choice): "Time Limit" by Casiopea
Best Occasion to Drink: Whilst on a long walk
Brewer's Notes: We love brewing beers for good causes, and this time around we've partnered up with Rock'n Rescue, an organization in North Reading that finds forever homes for Mexican street dogs (known as "satos").
This lovely lil' stout was brewed with ancho and pasilla chiles, but instead of "spicy hot" these peppers provide a chocolatey, raisiny background note. A fistful of cocoa nibs, a punch of lactose, and a couple cinnamon sticks round out the flavors for a lovely Mexican chocolate style stout!
