Beer Name: Gargoyle
Style: Barrel-aged Belgian Strong Amber
ABV: fucked if I know
Color: "Time to see a doctor"
Cheese Pairing: Délice de Bourgogne
Food Pairing: Candied bacon. Just go for it.
Music Pairing (Jimbo's Choice): "Poles Apart" by Pink Floyd
Music Pairing (Jared's Choice): "Welcome to the Great Indoors" by The Good The Bad and The Zugly
Best Occasion to Drink: while making up songs about what you're doing.
Brewers' Notes: It's barrel season, bitches! Thassright, it's that time of year when we awaken our aging beers from their slumber or whatever and start pourin' 'em down our/your gullets! This lil' beauty somehow manages to satisfy that weird wedding superstition/poem - something old (barrel-aged beer), something new (fresh beer to blend with the barrel-aged beer), something borrowed (barrels, though technically we bought those), and something blue (they were, specifically, blueberry liqueur barrels. And also maybe some other barrels).
That honestly has nothing to do with this beer, we just thought it was neat! Anyway this beer has a whole lot of complexities on account of all the components, only everything is, like, harmonious? It's good, is my point here.
