Best Occasion to Drink: While cosplaying as your favorite band
Brewers' Notes: As this is the last release from our (non wild) barrel program, we thought it would be fitting for this beer to remind us of where this all started - Civil Disobedience for Losers is the name of the debut album by Indian Handcrafts, who Liz and Jared saw on their first date (they also played with Red Fang and Black Tusk. It was a killer show). And oh man, this beer has a lot going on - we aged a bunch of Double Key Lime in three different barrels (tequila, apple brandy, and summer reserve) and then we "goosed up" the oak character a bit by adding in some oak spirals that we'd had soaking in a house blend of different liquors and liqueurs (mostly Summer Reserve) and which we definitely had on hand for this purpose and not because we forgot about them for three years. The beer from those barrels was then blended with a strong grapefruit farmhouse (which, unlike almost everything else that goes into our barreled blends, was never released on its own) and dang but this beer is a treat! It's got a bunch of tart acidity from the fruits and some mellow, fruity oakiness from the barrels and *we* feel like you can taste the tequila but that might just be our imaginations talking and anyway it's tasty as hell and you should drink some!
