Beer Name: Control Is In Your Command
Style: There's a lot going on here. We'll just call it a "barrel-aged farmhouse" (because that means both everything and nothing) and move on.
ABV: 6.8%
Color: Medium toast oak.
Cheese Pairing: La Tur.
Food Pairing: Pound cake.
Music Pairing (Jimbo's Choice): "Handball!" by the Weisstronauts
Music Pairing (Jared's Choice): "Pleasant Valley Sunday" by The Weisstronauts
Best Occasion to Drink: When you’re feelin’ nostalgic about parties past
Brewer's Notes: This is a beer that's a bit hard to describe. We took the best aspects of some of our favorite things (some zingy citrus from Double Key Lime, a hint of spiciness from a ginger farmhouse, and some barrelly blueberry goodness from a Summer Reserve barrel courtesy of our friends over at Short Path) and combined them harmoniously in a way that doesn't quite fit in any boxes, yet somehow checks all the boxes, which we feel makes it a fitting tribute to The Weisstronauts.
