Beer Name: The Windy Man
Style: Wet Hop Pale Ale
ABV: 5.5%
IBU: 29
Color: Liquid Sunshine. But, like, at dusk, so it's kind of orange.
Cheese Pairing: Cambozola.
Food Pairing: Salami, arugula, and balsamic on a baguette.
Music Pairing (Jimbo's Choice): "Road to Nowhere" by Talking Heads
Music Pairing (Jared's Choice): "Flat Bottom Cold Greaser" by The Weisstronauts
Best Occasion to Drink: Immediately! But you must savor it. Just do it quickly!
Brewers' Notes: Wet hops? Yes please! Right about the very minute that we got word from Four Star Farms that they were firin' up the harvester* to pick some of their tasty-ass centennials, we piled on in the ol' Bone Wagon (with a brief pit stop to mash in first) and set our sights for the freshest hops this side o' the Mississip! After a lotta driving and a little bag wranglin', we made us a beer fulla the fine flavor of friendship (and also freshly-picked hops). It ain't gon' be around for long - and it's best enjoyed right dang now - so come on out and grab a pint!
* Combine? I don't actually know what you harvest hops with (though we did see them do it with machetes one year).
