Beers! Colors! Minor Announcements!

​The weather outside has been takin' a turn for the nasty these days, which means it's the perfect season to grab a growler of El Pulpo, grab a blanket, hunker down next to That Special Someone and tell them to get their own damn growler because you ain't sharin' yours.

Or if you're lookin' for something that's a bit more light 'n' dry (but still malt-forward), then mayhaps you'd be interested in a pint or four of our new Biere de Garde: Vye-Olent World! We used a whole mess o' Blue Ox Vye-Enna malt* and brewed up a slightly fruity (and admittedly somewhat light** for the style) buncha malty goodness! It goes on tap this Friday, so swing on by and try it out!

Another beer brewed so we could use a terrible pun. Viva la Bone Up!

Speaking of things that are good, our first coloring contest*** has come to a close! We had a lot of stellar entries (and an unexpectedly sassy pile o' captions), and we're pleased as punch to announce our winner: Victor Prizzio, and our runner up: Susanne Fyfe (who claimed she couldn't come up with something creative, then went and invented Grape PBR. We are proud and horrified, Susanne)! They'll be gettin' some sweet swag as prizes, and we're gearin' up for another coloring contest (Bone Up themed this time!) starting in the new year! Good times, etc.

Lastly but far from leastly, we found a few people who shared some hella kind words about our beer and our taproom recently, so we figured we'd direct your attention over to Hopping Around New England and Beer Awareness! We love the heck outta brewin' tasty beers and running this taproom, and we're stoked as anything that y'all are diggin' it! Cheers!

* Hence the pun that nobody other than us is going to find funny.

*** To be fair, we really just piggybacked onto the Red Fang Coloring Contest. We'll be adding all these to #RFCC (there's a sweet swag bag involved) and if an entry gets selected, we'll be sure to let the winner know!
