Dang on a thang, friends, it's really real! We finally did all the buildout and cut through all the red tape and redid half of the buildout because the people in charge changed their minds about what is/isn't required and painted everything and spiffed things up and now our definitely-not-a-hellish-nightmare expansion is complete! We done it! We've got more space and more seats and we've now got the ability to do a bunch of weird one-off events that we couldn't do previously (because they'd overrun our tiny taproom and not everybody is down with that) and we're just ever so stoked!

And we got some party plans for y'all on this fine festive weekend, but also some of those are things that we were gonna do anyway because we only had, like, six days to plan all this stuff so we're just slappin' the word "party" on some the normal fun times we bring you (but don't you worry, there's also Bigger Better Fun Times too). Anyway, the point is that Thursday is Lego Night! Remember* how fun it was to play with Legos? Well it's still fun as heck so we got us a whole crapton of them there buildy blocks and we're gonna share! That's pretty much the deal for now, but we've got some Big Ideas all up in our brains that we'll be trottin' out later on if this is a hit (for instance, Jared keeps talking about "Lego Olympics" and then refusing to elaborate), so come on out and build some stuff!

And what to drink while you build tiny worlds and then probably spill beer all over them? Probably the cask of Haley that we're tappin'! What's Haley? Only the newest addition to our Puppers Past series, and this time it's a sweet stout that's been rested on some oak spirals that fill it fulla dry-yet-chocolatey goodness! And this particular cask happens to be spiked with even more oak in the form of Irish-whiskey-soaked oak chips! Party on!
This beer may look imposing, but really it's just a hug in a glass.
Anyway, back to all that giddy dancing around because of our expansion: in true Bone Up Style, we're takin' this occasion as an excuse to celebrate, so celebrate we shall! We went diggin' around through the ol' Barrel Hold for some special beers to tap and we grabbed some Quadless Leg Monster (the last ever keg!) and some barrel-aged El Pulpo and some Melvin and then we figured we should probably make y'all a new special blend since you've been so dang patient and/or supportive during our never-ending expansion so now we've got a whole bunch of Fancy Pants! It's a big ol' barrel aged farmhouse ale with a buncha raspberries and hibiscus and all kinds of deliciousness. And you get to drink some!

Back to the task at hand, in honor of the fun times we had with our local government over the past weeks and months, we're callin' this celebration Kafka** Day! And since it's Kafka Day, it's really gonna be two days! That means that startin' on Friday and continuing on to Saturday at closing time, we're gonna be slingin' special beers and gettin' merry and you should join us!
This is our last ever keg of Quadless. Damn. Goodbyes are sad, but the fact that it's even pouring means we got a real reason to celebrate. Come out and salute the new space!
And since no party is complete without snacks, we've got snacks! On Friday we've got the folks from Boston Jerky slingin' dried meats, then on Saturday we have new-to-us Teri-yummy and Sweetteeth Baking (because you gotta have cake)! Then on Sunday as a "cool down" after all the cake, we've got Bird's Nest in here doin' what they do best, and what they do best is fried manicotti!
