Howdy and hello! Most of you have already heard and/or seen our Exciting Big News so we ain't gonna bother beatin' around the bush on this one: we're expanding!
Another 2,000 square feet for another 20,000 square feet of ideas...
We only signed the lease a few days ago (and there was so, so much prancing after we did), so there's still a lot to be figured out and/or planned and/or done and/or pranced about, but here's the deets we do have, presented in handy* Q 'n' A format:

How much space are you adding?
We've got roughly twice as much as we used to - we took over the unit next to ours, and it's about the same dimensions as what we've got now. So... we're upgrading from Tiny to Still Pretty Durn Small.
What specifically are you expanding?
Everything! We wanna give y'all a little more breathing room out there in the taproom, but we're equally (if not more) pinched for space behind-the-scenes (production space, cold storage, our "lab" that's just a table in the corner right now, the Nap Nook, etc.) so we're playin' it fair and doublin' up on ever'thang! More beer! More games! More seats! More tanks! Storage in any amount whatsoever!

Lots of reasons, really, but the main takeaway is that we've got (hopefully) better ideas up our collective sleeve. We'll give you the down-low when things are a bit more set in stone, but rest assured that we've been schemin' some schemes.
Is the new space usable now?
Ha! No. Not even a little bit. So far the only tangible effect is that things are more confusing for people who have never been here before. We're considering airplane-style lighted pathways to the taproom and/or the bathroom.
Okay... any idea when it'll be good to go?
Nope! It would be really nice to have any sort of an answer here, but we'll be tied up with permits and building codes and all sorts of nonsense (not to mention the actual buildout that we need to do), so it's kind of anyone's guess. But if all goes well (it won't) we're hopin' to have at least part of that area up and runnin' before we get too deep into Patio Season.

Anyway, we'll have plenty to shout about on that front in the coming weeks and months, but that's kinda all we know for now, so we'll get back to business with the fun times on tap this weekend!
First and foremost, today we're tappin' up a new beer: Galena Saison! We've had a hankerin' for some single hop saison, and galena has been a favorite of ours since the Days of Homebrew, so we did the only logical thing and dumped a shitload of galena into a saison! Tasty times!
Light body, dry finish, tropical fruit notes... this is one of them "come for one, stay for four" type of beers.
Next up, this Thursday we're tappin' a cask o' the style that everyone** has been clamorin' for: Nug Amber Ale! And in a not-at-all-predictable turn of events, we dry hopped that there cask with MA-grown nugget! Woo!

Also on Thursday, though admittedly a little less front-and-center for all y'all, we're celebratin' International Womens' Day (and also our involvement in/with the Pink Boots Society) by participating in the Big Boots Brewday! More to the point, Jimbo and her feisty band of fermented females (i.e. any of our female staff who happen to show up that day) are gonna brew up a big ol' batch of something tasty in celebration of this great cause!
Then on Friday we got Mr. Tamole back in the house with more tasty treats for you to eat! They're so good, you guys.

And on Sunday startin' right at noon we've got our new friends from Matilda's Turnovers comin' atcha with some brunchin' action! They'll have beef 'n cheese, ham and eggs, and strawberry Nutella (I know) for you to gorge on!
Good taste.
And! At some undetermined point, possibly this weekend we'll be releasin' another new beer - this time around it's a light 'n' easy blonde named Stomper! Stomp stomp stomp.
