First and/or foremost, we've been plowin' through the blink-and-you'll-miss-'em Horatio Day beers and we've settled on something that's got a bit more volume to back itself up: Joyrider! That sucker's on tap right now and it's gonna be around for longer than, say, barrel-aged El Pulpo which was here for roughly the duration of a firm handshake and a curt goodbye (but we do still have it in bottles!), so come on out and get joyful!
Howdy howdy once again, one and all! It's a big ol' week packed fulla fun and nonsense and fun nonsense, so we gon' cut the chitter chatter and get on with it! Good taste! But speaking of beers that aren't long for this world, it behooves us to let you know that we're down to the last bits of El Pulpo (the regular kind) and Doomrider, so if you're partial to these particular tipples we might suggest you get while there's gettin' to be got! And just in case you *do* miss 'em on draft, a) please stop crying, and 2) just come buy the bottles. We've still got a couple cases of each! (Well, the El Pulpo bottles are all the barrel aged version. Oh NOO.) "But wait," you say, "if there are beers about to kick, does that mean you've got new beer(s) on the horizon?" And the answer to that is, of course, a resounding Yes! We! Do! There's some pretty rad stuff comin' up, including our collaboration brew with Small Change (and also an estate-grown Super IPA for when we polish off the rest of that Cryptic Nonsense) and probably a couple other things too, so keep them eyes peeled! Beer fueled by friendship and good vibes! Anyway, if you've been around us for any dang ol' amount of time you'll hear us sayin' that the world needs more Kelly on cask, so we've got Kelly! On cask! Starting Thursday! Kelly! Speaking of Thursday, this Thursday is February's installment of Audio Triviality! And to "sweeten the deal" we're also gonna have Mr. Tamole slingin' tamales all evening! So if you're lookin' for good beer and good times and good grub and good tunes and probably some bad puns, come on by! The theme is "Animals." To find out what that has to do with anything, you'll just have to come on by! Then on Friday we're gettin' the meat train rollin' with Beantown Pastrami! And from the menu items we've seen, they've gotten pretty creative* with their sliced meats, so it's bound to be tasty times! Come hungry - pastrami sammies, hot dogs, and chili dosed with extra meats are up on the menu! Then on Saturday our friends from T'ahpas 529 are comin' by to dish out some delicious dishes because Saturdays are made for snacking! Check out this menu! Delicious snacking: imminent And if you happen to be a bit further south on Saturday - say, somewhere on or near the Cape - we'll be reppin' strong at the Dark of Winter Black Ale Fest at Cape Cod Brewing! And as you might have guessed, this fest is being thrown in collaboration with the Black Ale Project, which not only means lots of great dark beer (which, if you ask us, don't get enough love), it also means supporting a good cause! Sounds pretty rad to us, which is why we'll be there and why you should be too! Tickets here: Dark of Winter Fest * Assuming your definition of "creative" includes "adding pastrami to other, non-pastrami foods" and honestly if that's not the case then maybe you should seriously reëxamine your life.
