In Which FAKE SPRING

Hello, friends! It seems we're already well into the apex of yet another Fake Spring,* and dang but we're gonna enjoy it while it lasts!

And it's with that in mind that we should probably mention the Everett Expedition. You know, that cool brewery-hopping passport program that we're doing for Mass Beer Week? Well... it sold out. That shouldn't stop you from coming to visit all the rad breweries that we've got here in Everett, but we ain't got no more passports.

But! In brighter news, we do have Girl Scout Cookies! Yes indeedy, we stocked up a bit and now you can getcha some delicious cookies while you grab some delicious beer! Or if you're more the "online ordering" type, feel free to use our Virtual Cookie Booth (or whatever it is that GSA wants us to call it) and throw some cookies onto your next order!

And speaking of good things, this Friday we're doin' another (Virtual) Weekly Beer Spotlight and this week we're gonna compare and/or contrast Joybringer (our Belgian Tripel) and Joyrider (its barrel-aged counterpart)! Joybringer is always gonna hold a special place in our collective hearts (to say that Jared has a sentimental attachment to tripel would be an understatement), and we're stoked to get on the ol' cybermeeting and ramble about it!

And while we're goin' on about fun virtual events for cool people, next Friday we're doin' another Hell Night with Brato! And for those of you who ain't hip to the haps on the eats with the heat, in this particular event you'll get a dozen wings (if you're into chicken you can get boneless wings or the good kind, but if you're into cauliflower wings I think they only have boneless) and you'll also get six incrementally-hotter sauces and you get a mixed four pack of four tasty Bone Up beers of your choosing** and then we'll all gather together in cyberspace and eat those wings (in order of spiciness) and then - if last time is any indication - we'll have to spend about 40 minutes pacing around and swearing and/or eating mac 'n cheese before we can feel human again and anyway it's gonna be a great time and you should join us!

Oh! Lastly! Speaking of fun virtual events that you should definitely do, on Friday the 26th we'll be doin' an event to go with the release of No Light Ever! Since this beer was made in collaboration with Glacier (and named after their latest album) we figured we'd bring back some music trivia and in addition to a four-pack of No Light Ever, each ticket comes with some sweet swag (glassware, vinyl, a bandana, and probably at least one other thing!) and since Glacier is pretty keen on the idea of helping venues survive through These Trying Times, we're donating $20 per ticket to NIVA/Save Our Stages! So! If you wanna hang out and do some trivia and drink beer and talk about beer and hang out with a band and also contribute to a good cause, you should probably buy a ticket and come hang out!
