And leadin' that ol' charge as always is beer! We've got quite a bit in the pipeline these days and the first one to grace our taps is gonna be Hop Chariot! This beer is born out of a combined desire to a) have another IPA on tap, and 2) brew an IPA that has any amount of talking points other than "it's an IPA, I dunno just drink it." So anyway we've been getting a fair amount of hops from new(ish)-to-us Hang 'Em High Hops out in Michigan (because MI-grown hops are honestly quite nice) and we felt the need to just cram a whole crapton of 'em (specifically Gemini, Paradigm, and Emerald Spire) into one IPA and it'll be on draft Thursday and in cans on Friday and you should drink some!

And speaking of beers that are coming out this weekend, we've got another anniversary beer comin' out on draft this weekend! This time it's a kiwi grisette that we brewed for our pals in Sunken City (who have played our anniversary party quite a few times at this point) and we're calling it Float Along and it's gonna be on tap on Sunday (possibly earlier) and it's gonna be tasty as heck!

And movin' on into events for the weekend, we've got Glam Rock Trivia happening on Thursday and then HotChix is in the house on Friday and we've got Decimation Deli comin' by on Saturday (and their sandwiches are SO GOOD) and then on Sunday we're doin' up Hot Sauce Fest! Yes indeedy, we're gatherin' up a buncha cool hot sauce vendors (Alchemy Peppers, Craic Sauce, Lizard Mill, and Hillside Harvest) and they'll be dishin' out samples and tinglin' your tastebuds from noon to four, so come on by!

And dipping our toes into the heady waters of Next Week, we've got some cool events scheduled! Who woulda thunk? Anyway, on Tuesday we have a Paint Your Pets workshop! This is a new-to-us event and the gist is that you send the organizers a photo of your pet beforehand (it's a tickets-in-advance kinda thing, natch) and they'll sketch it onto a canvas for you and then teach you how to recreate that photo in paint form! Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to find the stupidest possible photo of my dogs so that I can paint it.

Oh! Wait! I got so excited about painting that I forgot to mention Simpsons Trivia next Thursday! The theme is Season Seven and you'll have to study a bit to beat the reigning champs, but you don't have to do no studyin' at all to have fun at trivia (we are living proof), so come on by!
