And speaking of friends we've sorely missed these past 18 months or so (who also so happen to make tasty treats, which also so happen to fit in the "foods that are their own container(s)" category), this Saturday marks the first time in a long time that we get to see our friends from Matilda's! They make some straight-up incredible pastelitos and we're plannin' on seein' them a fair bit over the fall, but really the point is their food is tasty as hell and you should come eat some!
And then! On Sunday, just when you thought we'd exhausted our options in this needlessly-specific category of foods, we're hosting a ravioli making class! This event is new to us so there are maybe a few unknowns on our end, but we *do* know it will result in butternut squash ravioli with wild mushroom sauce, so it would probably be a silly decision if you *didn't* sign up? I dunno, just sayin'. Grab your tickets here: Ravioli Time!
And to some extent, we realized that it was silly to keep making one-off beers that we liked *more* than our flagships, which meant we had to rethink a few things. So. We'll still be having at least one fruity beer on the menu at all times, but we'll be mixin' up the fruits from season to season (whilst keeping a similar-if-not-identical base). And we'll certainly be havin' our fair share of hoppy shit flowin' through our draft lines (this is America after all), but ol' Wasted Life will be a bit more of a bit player. We're sad to see these beers go - they've been with us since Day One and then some - but sentimentality ain't everything, so we're sayin' "smell ya later" for now and moving forward not backward, upward not forward, and we damn well think you'll enjoy!
Until next week, campers!
** As you may have guessed, we don't completely know what that word means in this context. But also we don't refer to beers as "brands" and we don't talk about y'all as "consumers" so what do you really expect
