Hello friends! As many of you already know, we've got a bit of a big weekend coming up. Just how big? Fairly big.
Thassright, Everett's bringin' back its annual Village Fest this weekend, and it just so happens to take place right on our dang doorstep! And just how, praytell, will this effect you? Well it depends on what you're after. If you like to be around lots of people and beer and live music and food trucks and outdoor drinking and family-friendly activities and cocktails and maybe some guy with an accordion, then you're in luck because that's exactly what they're deliverin'! If you're more the "sit quietly" type, then we might plant the seed of a suggestion that this Saturday afternoon from three 'til nine might not be the ideal time to roll through here.
And that actually presents a pertinent point: special occasions (particularly those we ain't hostin') mean Special Rules, and the big 'un this time around is that we are closing at 9PM on September 23rd as that's when the fest ends. Also we're only allowed to serve in plastic cups during the fest, just FYI.

And speaking of fun parties, we're just over a week away from our Sausage Party with Moody's Deli! We started with the intention of having some sort of Oktoberfest-style celebration, but we ended up taking what we felt were the most important core concepts of Oktoberfest (beer, sausages, the option to wear silly pants) and expanding upon those! We'll have multiple beer releases that weekend, which is probably the perfect pairing for multiple meats, so throw on your best elastic-waist lederhosen and maybe a tuxedo t-shirt or two and come stuff yourself silly!

But bringin' it back closer to the immediate term, we gotta tell you about our casks this week! It's Belma! Dry hopped with Belma! And then that same thing again two days later!
