Oh hey there, welcome back! We've been keepin' busy keepin' it real, and (more importantly) we've got a hell of a lot of tasty times and fun treats and fun times and tasty treats and all that good stuff, so read on!
Startin' that ol' Tasty Train off with a bang,* on Wednesday we've got cheese! More to the point, we've got four cheeses from Couët Farm in Dudley, MA and our Expert Cheese Team** has paired up all four with beers from our menu, and dang but it is delectable!
Movin' right on along, this week's trusty Thursday cask is another old favorite: Shut Up Kelly! And since this ol' cask is gettin' tapped during a particularly spooktacular time of year, we goosed it on up with some single-origin cocoa nibs! This time around we're usin' Haitian nibs and the tasting notes we've got are "vanilla, brown sugar, and raisins" which pretty much has "tasty" written all over it and we gon' drink some!
And if you wanna do some spooktacular thinkin' whilst you sup your cocoa cask, we're hosting Halloween-themed trivia on Thursday! That there's a pretty broad topic, so put on your thinkin' pants and then probably just write in "The Great Pumpkin" for every question you don't know the answer to, because it's gotta be right at least once.
Then on Friday we've got one heck of a treat for you, and that's a new art exhibit! We're bidding a fond farewell to Images From The Pit*** and welcoming in Mosh Monsters!**** It's a bit of an artistic change-up for that particular wall, but also it's pretty much completely in line with what we got goin' on around here (which is to say, a buncha rad-ass art), and also he drew us a Horatio monster and we're just so friggin' stoked and you should come check it out! The art's gonna be up for a little while, but we're makin' it a whole thing (as best we can, anyway), so come say hi and look at (or purchase) cool art and/or a coloring book!
And if you somehow needed more reason to swing through on Friday, we're also bringin' back an old favorite popup (who you may remember from possibly our first popup ever): Jaju! They'll be slingin' pierogis all evening and that means it'll smell like fried butter all up ins and there's gonna be tons of good tastes! Woo!
And speaking of good tastes and/or our favorite things, on Saturday we've got HotChix back in the house! They make a mean Hot Chicken and we aim to eat some and you probably should too!
Movin' right along to Sunday, we're doin' pumpkin carving! We got us some tools and some pumpkins and some makeshift tarps and a whole buncha spooktacular beer and we're gonna cut up some gourds! Unlike most of our events, this un's a ticketed 'un, and unlike most of our ticketed events, it's almost sold out! If you wanna get your knife on, I'd step on it: Patio Pumpkin Carving Tickets
Speaking of things that are a spooktacular good time, we're just about a week away from our dog costume contest! Thassright, next Saturday, October 26th, we're settin' up "beer garden" style (by which we mean "drinking in the parking lot") and we want you to get them pups all dressed up and trottin' around and hopefully not destroying their costumes, but probably destroying their costumes (let's be real here) and there's gonna be some dog-themed friends settin' up alongside us (PolkaDog Bakery will have treats and toys, and Beast Coast Design will have treats and fun dog merch!) and we've already got a dog-themed beer on tap and it's gonna be a ton of fun! We'll have tasty eats from T'ahpas 529 from 3-7pm, plus we're releasing a passionfruit farmhouse ale (which we just so happened to brew with T'ahpas). So... no reason to not come out and enjoy a lovely fall weekend?
And looking a bit further forward into the future, we've got something else on the ol' planner that's also gonna be a ton of fun: Pulpo Day! See, we look forward to the annual release of this tasty-ass chocolate orange stout, and we felt the need to celebrate (also, the Horatio Day menu was getting a bit overcrowded with barrel-aged and/or vintage Pulpo)! So what we're gonna do is we're gonna release El Pulpo and (probably) the barrel-aged version (on tap and in bottles) and we're gonna dig through the ol' beerchive and dig out vintage kegs of El Pulpo (including last year's barrel-aged variant), and we're gonna drink them and have a great time! Yaaaaaaaay!
Oh, and speaking of bottles, it's almost bottle time! Keep your eyes peeled in the coming weeks, because we've got some "tricks" up our "sleeves" this year...

*** Which unfortunately overlapped a lot with a time of year when our side room saw little use, since people only want to drink on the patio in the warmer months.
