Hello again, cats and kittens! We've been sloggin' away on gettin' our expanded space all spiffed up and up to code, and we've accomplished pretty much what you've come to expect from us at this point: slightly more than nothing! So far it's been a lot of forms and paperwork and permits and meetings, which - while important - don't really look like much. But. But! We did paint our soon-to-be barrel* room! You don't choose the paint for the barrel room. The paint for the barrel room chooses you. That might not seem like a big deal, mostly because it isn't, but we're still chuffed as can be - you'd need to dig pretty deep into your Bag O' Euphemisms to put a good spin on the condition that room was in when we got to it. Terrifying. It was terrifying. Anydangways, let's get down to the haps for all you lasses and chaps! We're startin' the week off right - tonight (which is to say, Wednesday) we've got the fine folks from Alice's Table in the house for a flower arranging class! And while the taproom will be open as normal, this is a limited-space ticketed event, so you best get on that if you think that flowers and beers are the combo for you! Nothing says seasonal denial like flower arranging with two feet of snow freshly dumped on the ground. Then on Thursday we're keepin' the party goin' with another cask o' Nug, and this time it's loaded up with a hop that we got from our friends at Two K Farms: Empire! That's right: Nug Empire. Speaking of beers and/or things that are good, just like we (sort of) promised we would, we released Stomper Blonde last week! Stomp stomp stomp. Movin' on, our friends from Brato Kitchen are gonna be back in the house this Friday, and this time they're rollin' in hot with a big ol' pile of grilled cheese for all y'all! Tasty times, indeed! If you've got a grilled cheese itch, this is gon' scratch it. Then on Sunday we're tryin' somethin' new: taproom yoga! So if you're interested, come on by at 10:30 - you've done yoga before, but now it's in our taproom! And if this proves to be something that y'all enjoy, it may result in more fun yoga times to come, so swing on through and get your stretch on! I believe this was referred to as "Sunday Funday" by the yoga instructor. We like to think of it as "a prelude to Hot Metal Yoga" * And also storage, but that's way less fun.
