Hello friends! Before we get back on that ol' Sass Train, we'd like to take a minute to offer our sincere thanks to everyone who came out this past Saturday and helped make our birthday party an awesome experience - it was a hectic day for us, but it was the best kind of hectic because the place was packed wall-to-wall with friends: some old, some new, some who haven't yet realized that they're our friends but who will definitely appreciate the time we took to make statues of them out of hot dogs and deli meats. We did take more photos, but as it happens it'll take a while to gather up the ones that weren't taken on Jimbo's phone before it died. Meat statues not pictured. More gems next week! And speaking of friends, we can't possibly say enough good things about the bands and the chefs and the bar staff and the hot sauce wizards and the grillmasters and the sound engineers and the maca masters - every single one of them made the day immeasurably better and we couldn't possibly thank them enough. In other words: thanks for being a part of the Bone Up Family. It's been a wild three years, and we're pretty much the luckiest people ever to get to hang out with such a rad group of people. Back row: JackJohn, Ben, Megan, Mike, John, Tom, Matt, Maddy Middle row: Chris, Bubs, Lindsay, Grace, Alyssa Front row: Jared, Jimbo But anyway. Enough navel gazing, we must move forward and/or upward and the first thing on the ol' docket is our regularly scheduled cask on Thursday! This time around it's the return of an old favorite: Extra Naked! And since we were feeling a bit saucy when we filled that cask, we threw in a whole buncha Pepite (which is actually the Secret Code Name for the locally-grown version of another hop)! Our favoritest favorite. Oh! And! Since we've got a lil' ol' "holiday weekend" comin' up, we're doin' more Dollar Dogs! Thassright - all day on Sunday and Monday we're servin' up store-brand hot dogs for a dollar apiece (with purchase)! Because one of the few things as tasty as fresh beer is a good shitty hot dog. Then to follow up on all that long-weekend goodness, on Tuesday we're hostin' 80's-90's cartoon trivia alongside our friends from Deep Cuts Deli! Come on out and enjoy the fun - stupid prizes will abound! Here's hopin' for some Thundercats action figures and Scooby Snacks.
