Hello again! We're back in action with a buncha fun times and also some new beers (FINALLY. It's been, like, a week since we've had a new beer) and anyway I'm gonna stop talking about all the cool stuff we got goin' on, and start talking about all the cool stuff we got goin' on!
And first on that list, as always, is new beer! This here's a pair of beers that we're just completely dang ol' stoked about and that means wedding beers! Yes indeedy, friends of the brewery (and also Liz and Jared's neighbors at home) Maggie and Nick are gettin' hitched and we brewed up some beers for 'em! For Maggie we made a nice 'n light grisette with a pinch of hibiscus and a punch of plum and we called it Mag-nificent Chemistry and for Nick we went with a nice ' fruity hazy IPA called CPHaze, and to "sweeten the deal" these beers are made to be blended into a beertail that we're callin' Better Together! And what's more, the happy couple was kind enough to let us release the beers before the wedding** (which is in a week) and that means they'll be out on Saturday (or maybe Friday afternoon/evening if we've got our shit together) and you should come drink some!

And movin' on to fun times, we've got some fun times for you! We're startin' off on Thursday with a terrarium workshop! A ticket gets you all the supplies you need (vessel, rocks, plants, dirt, and probably some other nature stuff) and there will be some instruction and then you get to hang out and drink beer and play with dirt and then you get to go home with a full-fledged terrarium! It's a bit off the beaten path, but it's a buncha fun and you should join us!

And then on Friday we've got Al Ghanekar and friends in the house for some comedy! We'll be transforming our side room (which, at a previous comedy performance, was described as looking like "Hell's waiting room," which was maybe supposed to be an insult but we were super proud of that description?) into the world's tiniest theater and there's gonna be laughs galore! Tickets are limited (on account of the whole "world's tiniest theater" thing), so snag one soon if you wanna come get your giggle on!

And then! Saturday! We decided to take Oktoberfest (which has totally been done before) and put our own "spin" on it (which is definitely a 100% unique idea that has never been done by anyone before ever. You can take my word for it, you don't even have to look it up) and anyway that's Octoberfuzz! We teamed up with Somergloom (the folks who run the rad fest of the same name) and we got a bunch of awesome doom and psych bands to come play in the beer garden! We're gonna be rockin' out* to the sounds of Sundrifter and Coma Hole and Kind and Major Stars and Electric Street Queens - the tunes start at 4 and tickets are only ten bucks, so come on by and hang with us!

Oh! And! I almost forgot - we've also got some food vendors in the house this weekend! On Friday we've got El Barbon Tacos slingin' tacos startin' at 6, then on Saturday we've got Sandwich Boy in the house from 2-6, so come eat snacks with us!

And then next Friday we've got the September installment of Band Hangouts! This time around we wanted to feature some bands from our anniversary show last month (and also one band that was supposed to play the anniversary but couldn't) since the anniversary was maybe a wee bit chaotic, so we've got Crowfeeder and Attest and Blue Manic in the house and they'll be hangin' out and slingin' swag and it's gonna be a good time!
