Howdy, friends! We’re rockin’ and rollin’ and back in action with tonsa tasty beers and delightful treats for you to eat!
And first on that Good Times Train is another dang ol’ new beer: Smaltster! See, every now and then we get all misty-eyed about all the cool local maltsters that we get to work with and we get a good-old-fashioned hankerin’ to make somethin’ malty to show off all the good stuff they make, so we did! We did that thing I just said! And this time around that takes the form of a lightly bready, slightly sweet, modestly hoppy, all around easy-drinkin’ good-time-havin’ fun-for-all lil' English-style pale ale! And it’s on tap right now so you should come try it!

Speaking of things that are good and also on tap right now, we’ve got more Out of Bounds! Sometimes you just gotta go back to the classics (but not too classic like when every “microbrewery” made pretty much nothing but caramel-forward chewy malty madness) and we did just that with some good old fashioned citrus and pine good times!
Oh, and since we're goin' on about blasts from the past, remember Atlantica? Well it's back... in cask form! Thassright, we're tappin' up that taproom favorite on the trusty beer engine startin' on Thursday and goin' until it's gone! And since we wanted to "spice things up" a bit, we went and dry hopped the absolute heck outta that cask with Pacifica!
Speaking of Thursday, on that very same day we'll be hostin' up some "Award Winning" trivia! It's... award themed? I think? Anyway, if you want to win something from our Box O' Stupid Trivia Prizes and then tell all your coworkers that it's a Major Award, then come on out and compete!
Then on Friday we got our food pals from Brato in here for Rib Night! If you like ribs and/or nights, you should come check it out!
And if you happen to be somewhere northward on Friday - say, in the Salem area - you should come to our tap-takeover-slash-metal-night at Gulu Gulu! They'll be spinning some vinyl and tappin' some beers* that ain't even made it to our draft list yet, so if you're tryin' to "get the skinny" on some "new suds" then come on by and say hi!
And back to the Tasty Times, this Saturday we've got Chicken 'n' Rice guys up in the taproom from 2-6!
Also on Saturday we'll be out in the wild for a nigh-unprecedented second day in a row! This time around it's at the Tails & Ales fest at Nevins Farm in Methuen! If you like drinkin' beer for a good cause, or if you're just hoping to meet a goat wearing a Cone of Shame, come join the party!
Oh! And! Future times! Since it's still such a dang ol' ways until our Anniversary Party (which is just over a month away!), we figured we'd give y'all a lil' "Christmas in July" next Thursday. Anyway, we've got three - count 'em, THREE - bottle releases comin' up!
See, we been foolin' around with some wild/funky/mixed fermentation beers for a bit of a while now and since we did things the old fashioned (i.e. extremely time consuming) way as is our wont, we didn't have nothin' to show for it until now but now we do and it's nigh-on high time we shared the spoils! So. Some details.
"Critters" is what we're callin' our new mixed-fermentation series that we'll be rollin' out over the course of the coming months! Each release in the series will be a different beer or blend, and super small batch (like maybe four cases worth of beer and maybe a little bit on tap), so once we put them suckers out there we highly suggest you come get while the gettin' is good!

- Critters I: Grisette aged in wheat whiskey barrels with strawberry and brettanomyces, 5.2%
- Critters II: Mixed fermentation red ale aged in rye barrels with brettanomyces, 6.5%
- Critters III: Grisette aged in rye barrels with blackberry, peach, and brettanomyces, 5.2%
* Well, one's a rerelease, but it's been a year since it's been on tap here.
