Hello again! It's gettin' into the throes of "hide from the weather" season 'round here, but we got just the thing(s) to make you wanna bundle up and brave the elements so's you can hunker down with a pint or three!
First up is our trusty Thursday Cask! This week it's Believer and hoo-wee but that is a beer that's just made to be drunk on cask! It's nice and roasty toasty and full of full-bodied goodness, but it packs a punch so gentle it's more of a "light caress" which means you can drink that sucker by the dang gallon (which we did! Last week!), so come on by and give it a try!

And speaking of beer, we've got one, possibly two new beers goin' on tap this weekend - including a secret beer! We ain't fit to spill the beans on that secret beer until it goes on (no matter how many times you ask* while you're at the bar), but the less mysterious of the two is gonna seem a bit familiar to those of us who joined us for Horatio Day because it's our smoked imperial stout: Shelby! It's a dang fine beer, if we do say so ourselves, but you ain't gotta take our word for it - we'll be shoutin' it from the mountaintops just as soon as we clear up a draft line (hint: Uptown) and get it flowin'!
Plus, ol' Shelby comes in our latest collectible Chalice for Charity: buy a beer and keep the glass for $3, which will be going to Pets For Vets!
But if you ain't wanna trust the fates on the availability of that beer in our taproom this weekend (and/or if you tend to be in Boston Proper on Friday afternoons), I'm pretty sure we're gonna have some at our growler popup we're havin' at CBC Fort Point this Friday from 5-7! And even if we aren't, you should come out anyway and harass our sales guy Josh and/or buy some beer!

Then on Saturday we've got a very special event that we'll be attending out in the wild - a fundraiser for our friends at Original Gravity! We've known these cats since the space that our brewery inhabits was naught but a dimly lit dank hole,** so we were stoked as all get out that we got to brew a beer (to pair with a musical number, natch) for this event! And if that somehow weren't enough, rest assured we'll be in good company, as we'll also be joined by Exhibit A and Cambridge Brewing and Aeronaut and Springdale and Notch! Come on out, it'll be fun!
And if you don't think that has "good times" written all over it, then I daresay you don't know what good times look like.
