Well hey there! How are you? We're doin' just dandy, thanks for asking! We've got one heck of a weekend lined up, so let's cut with the shuck and jive and get down to the business of good times!
First up isn't exactly an "upcoming event" but it sure as heck is something we're excited about! Some of y'all might recall Summoner, our oh-so-delicious classic-style American Pale Ale that we had on until last weekend. Well as our luck would have it, word of that beer got 'round to Summoner the band and they stopped in to drink a bunch of the beer that bore their namesake! Pretty frickin' rad if we do say so ourselves.

But anyway, now that Summoner is gone (the beer, that is. Though the band isn't in our taproom anymore either), we've got an open draft line and we can't stand for that no way no how. And seeing that this is the season of giving or whatever, we decided to bring back a beer that some people* have been clamoring for since it went away a year ago: Ginger Spectacular! It's on tap now! Come drink it!

And hot on the heels of that there re-release, this Thursday marks the holiday-themed installment of our music-themed trivia: Audio Triviality! It's sure to be a good time for all, and as an added bonus we stocked up on some super fun Dumb Trivia Prizes!
Speaking of Thursday, and speaking of Beer That's No Longer With Us, we've got Oh My! IPA back from the dead - this time in cask form! It's extra dry hopped with extra Comet goodness and oh man it's gonna be so tasty.
Also on Thursday, we've got us a special event out in the wild! We're givin' a talk about beer (and/or about ourselves) at the Newsfeed Cafe in the Boston Public Library! Tomorrow! And we made a special beer for it too, but you may have tried that one already (though now it might be a bit more obvious why we named it what we did). And there's gonna be food of some kind! I think!

But anyway, the passing of this round of Oh My! means yet another dang ol' empty draft line, which means another dang ol' old favorite brought back from the past. Yeesh. This time around - specifically, some time on Friday - we're gracin' our draft list with a dab o' Joybringer! We'd originally meant this to be a once-a-year beer, but we liked it so much that we just couldn't dang ol' wait for more, so we made that sucker again!
And just like last time, it's sneakily easy drinkin', so if you're lookin' to give your boss a little "truth serum" at your office holiday party, this might just be the ticket.
Speaking of things that are happening on Friday, Jimbo's in a brewers-vs-farmers costumed arm wrestling tournament! I don't know the details because nobody tells me nothin' but I do know it's at Wormtown at some point and I also know it's gonna be hella fun. Come on out!

And then as a Cool Down from all that stuff we got goin' on during the weekend, on Sunday we're bringin' in our friend(s) from Caldwell Confections for some French Toast! I dunno how what sort of logical jump the French took when they went from "bread heated in the oven" to "bread soaked in eggs" but I'll be damned if it ain't delicious!
Plus bacon! And ice cream!
And if that weren't enough Fun Times for ya, we're just one short month away from our definitely-not-made-up-while-drinking holiday: Horatio Day! We're celebratin' the birthday of our dapper logo dude in some kinda style, so clear your calendars for Saturday, Jamuary 6th!

Because that's when he was born! Or rather, that's the origin date of the original bar napkin sketch that originally became** Horatio! He was born in The Crypt Pub in Savannah, GA as the result of some now-forgotten conversation between Jared and his cousin Brian.
What beers are you releasing?
We've got an awesome draft list full of big beers planned, including the first and only release of the Quadless Leg Monster: a quad aged in apple brandy barrels! We'll also be pouring Joybringer Tripel, El Pulpo Chocolate Orange Imperial Stout, Life Sentence DIPA, and Shelby, a smoked stout, alongside plenty of hoppy and sessionable offerings.
Free cake?! Go on...
I mean, it'd be a pretty sad birthday party without cake! We're scheming on the first of hopefully many needlessly elaborate cakes for the years to come. So come eat some!
