In fact, it's going to be quite the food-filled weekend: on Saturday, staff favorite Miguel's Empanadas descends upon the taproom once again to bring us their crispy lil' bites of goodness! From 2-8pm, grab yourself a beef empanada (or four) marinated in either Key Lime or Shut Up Kelly!, dump some fresh aji salsa on that bad boy, and just have yourself an afternoon. On Sunday, we've got Union Square Donuts in the house starting at noon! We'll have several flavors of donuts in an inconspicuous box in the corner. Tell 'em Horatio sent you and we'll get you the goods.

It's been another week chock full o' big things so read on and read up as we lay down the skinny on some big fat news around these here parts! Since booze is our muse and we're here for beer, we are just as chuffed as can be to announce that we're bringin' back an old favorite! Just in time for that warm weather that showed up out of nowhere (and which will probably disappear without a trace for two more weeks), we got Bullhead back on tap! This version is a lil' different than the last one, as it's made with with grains from our new malt friends over at Two Track Malting! Their whole bag is transparency and traceability in the supply chain (which means we can track each bag of malt back to the specific field it was grown in, should we so desire), and we thought that was neat so we ordered up a lil' ol' sample* and then realized that we didn't actually have any plans on how to use it. But! We'd used Bullhead to test the mettle of some maltsters before (and they passed with flying colors, to the extent that we couldn't stop thinking about it), so it's back! Bullhead, we missed you and your toasty golden magic. Please never leave us again And hot on the heels of that release, spurred by something we did more or less by accident last week, we're gonna have us a Fancy Pizza Friday, including our very own special pizza just for this ol' beer release! A feast, in varying shades of beige But it's not all smiles and sunshine as we lead up to the weekend - for reasons that aren't really worth getting into, our usual Thursday cask will probably definitely be delayed this week. We'll do what we can to tap that bastard before the weekend's out, but we ain't gonna make any promises we can't keep, so keep an eye out. Sorry Patrick While that is a bummer, we do have exciting Shut Up-related news! We ordered some sweet new t-shirts for springtime and they arrived late last week bearing none other than our new Shut Up Kelly! logo. They're available in the taproom and in our online shop, check 'em out: It seems we all know a Kelly who needs to shut the hell up. Make the message more clear in style! Additionally, also on the upside (and also largely unrelated), we're startin' to look for more production staff! We're expecting a potentially large number of interested parties (that's not an ego thing, we just happen to know the sheer volume of people trying to become brewers), but if you're interested then head on over to the Jobs page where we provide all the juicy details and/or sort of try to dissuade you from applying.
