In Which We Enjoy the Last Daze of Summer

Howdy-do kids and squids! As always, we've got a week jam-packed fulla fun times lined up for you, even if this is the rare week when we don't have new beer(s) to announce (and also this is an off-week for cask*) and anyway let's get on with it! 

And first on up is something cool as hell that's ongoing right now and that's a beer and CD combo deal! See, when we were brewing beers for our anniversary party, we named Worshipper's beer after their 2018 EP Mirage Daze - partly because it's a great record but also partly because we thought it was a cool name - and anyway our new friends in Worshipper thought that was pretty rad, so now if you buy Mirage Daze (the beer) in the taproom, you can get Mirage Daze (the CD) for an extra two bucks! Anyway the point is that it's a very good EP and also a very good beer and you should buy both of them.

Anyway movin' on into some fun times, on Wednesday (which I'm told is today) we're hosting 80's/90's Pop Culture Trivia! It's a pretty big swath of time, but there was some damn memorable stuff goin' on at the time, so grab them Hammer pants outta the back of your closet and come hang out!

And then on Thursday we've got Inebri-Art in the house for some beer mug painting! Twenty bucks gets you a mug and all the painting supplies you'll need and it sounds like a rad way to spend the evening, so come paint with us!

Moving on to Friday, we've got ice cream! Yes indeedy, Blanche's Ice Cream is bringin' their truck back around with some frozen treats for y'all to enjoy in the last days of this year's warm summer nights and also they've usually got ice cream tacos and anyway it's gonna be tasty times! 

Then on Saturday we're once again gettin' an early (as in, 10:30 or so) start for some beer garden yoga! (Or taproom yoga depending on the weather) And as an added bonus, 100% of ticket sales will be donated to Healthy & Free Tennessee, a network of organizations working together to fight for reproductive freedom and sexual health in Tennessee (a state with a total abortion ban), so come do some yoga for a good cause! 

And gettin' on to Sunday, in addition to our regularly-scheduled sushi class we've got our friend Matt Heaton comin' by for some Surf Guitar Happy Hour! There's not a lot of better ways to spend an afternoon than listening to surf rock and sippin' on some beers, but you ain't gotta take *our* word for it because you can and should do just that this weekend! ​

And then movin' on to the heady days of next week, we've got some cool stuff lined up next week! Next Thursday (9/22) we're hosting a terrarium workshop (which is honestly a lot of fun. Like, a bunch more fun than it sounds, and it sounds pretty cool) and then on Friday (9/23) we've got Al Ghanekar and friends in the house doin' some stand up comedy and then after that on Saturday (9/24) we're hosting another show! This time around we teamed up with Somergloom to get a buncha rad doom and psych bands (namely Sundrifter, Major Stars, Kind, Coma Hole, and Electric Street Queens) and they'll be playin' out into the beer garden and we're callin' the event Oktoberfuzz and it's gonna be completely fun as heck! It's also worth noting that this will be our first-ever ticketed show in the beer garden (tickets are only $10! For five bands! That's, like, $2 per band!), so plan accordingly etc. ​

Anniversary encore? Anniversary encore!

But Wait! There's more! We'll be reppin' at a couple events "out in the world" this weekend! On Friday we'll be at the Dedham Museum for Tavern Night! We don't get to go to a lot of beer fests inside of museums, so this one's a pretty rad change of pace for us. Then on Saturday we'll be up in Gloucester (specifically Stage Fort Park, which we're assured has a killer view) for the Blackburn Brewfest! Anyway the point is that if you're outside of the paradise that is our taproom/beer garden this weekend, you should swing by these events and say hi! 

* I know, I know. Frown at me all you want, but it takes time to make casks, and there's been a lack of caskable beers in the tanks these past few weeks.
