Howdy do, kids and squids! We sure did enjoy all that hullabaloo last week what with puttin' out three new beers, so we figured we'd do it all over again with three more new* beers!
First on that ol' list, and on tap right now is Atlantica! There's an unnecessarily long story about how this beer came to be, but all you really need to know is it's a hoppy lil' treat (hopped entirely with Pacifica, but we couldn't call it "Pacifica" because we're not fond of getting sued) that's got a little smidge of tart dryness from some fresh plum puree, and we ain't got a ton of this one so you should come drink it!
Next up - also on tap right now - is Crystal! As you've heard us mention roughly infinity times by now, we're big fans of shinin' a spotlight on old-school hops that don't get the love they should, and we're even bigger fans of seein' what those hops are like when grown by our friends at Four Star Farms** so we did up a single-hop pale ale with MA-grown Crystal! And it's called Crystal! And it's delicious!
Moving right along, on tap probably Friday, we're bringin' back Ginger Spectacular! Long story short, it's a big ol' farmhouse beer with a whole whack of ginger that we've brewed a time or two in the past (we've also dabbled in barrel aging it, which is what gave us Ginger Extraordinaire) and since it's been gone for a bit, we beefed it up a smidge and now you can drink a bunch of it!
And if you're looking for some nibbles to nosh on while you're workin' your way through them new beers, we're doin' one more cheese night with the delectable delicacies from Grace Hill Farms and that night is tonight! And don't you worry, there will be more cheese in the future - there's plenty of creameries out there for us to check out.***
But getting back to beer for a second, on Thursday we're tappin' up our trusty Thursday cask and this week it's Shlem! Shlem.
Also on Thursday, we're hosting our first-ever Yaymaker event with a Design-A-Sign workshop! If you like painting and/or signage, this will be right up your alley!
Then on Friday we got some good tastes up in the house with Mr. Tamole! He'll be here slingin' tamales from 6-10!
Then on Saturday we've got two food popups! First is Chicken 'n' Rice Guys from 2 - 6 dishin' up, um, Chicken and Rice (served, of course, with that crazy good garlic sauce that we can't stop dreamin' about) and then from 6 - 10 Eat Cini's will be all up in with a buncha tasty-ass arancini! Tasty times!
* Well, one's the return of an old favorite, but it's been long enough that it's like new.
