Howdy friends! Now that we got the ol' floor all repaired up and we definitely didn't paint it pink for essentially no reason, we're back in action and ready to rock and/or roll!
And first on that ol' docket is a reminder that we're doin' (Virtual) Beer With the Brewers this Thursday (tomorrow) and also next Thursday and then on Fridays for (hopefully) the foreseeable future (and we may well have a "special guest star" lined up for the Friday after New Years)! This week we'll be doing a side-by-side tasting of two similarly-named-yet-very-different beers: Blood of Krampus and Barrel-Aged Biere de Krampus! We'll fire up the ol' Zoom meeting and Liz and Jared and possibly some other Bone Up folk will drink the beers and talk about the beers and hopefully not get too derailed talking about stuff that's not really relevant* and anyway it's a good time! Also, since you've probably** been wondering, we have had our Thinking Caps on about what to do about Horatio Day 2021 and we've some tasty tricks up our collective sleeves, and we figured we'd give you a bit of a "teaser" on what we got percolatin' on the back burner!
Long story short, we're throwin' ol' Horatio a bit of a belated birthday party in January, with the festivities scheduled for the weekend of the 22nd. But! Since it's all gonna be in cyberspace this year, we figured we'd spread things out a bit and now Horatio Day is gonna be more like Horatio Weekend*** with a series of smaller shindigs runnin' from Friday through Sunday (which means that, if you're the flight type, you won't need to try and drink fourteen barrel-aged beers in one sitting. Two sittings seems way more manageable).

Anyway, we're still hammerin' out some of the fine print in terms of food options and guest stars and spontaneous choreographed musical numbers, but rest assured that there's gonna be a buncha fancy beer and good times (and you best believe we got some cool glassware on order) and anyway mark your calendars because it's gonna be fun!
* That... may have happened a smidge at the last one, but we DO try to keep more-or-less on topic which isn't always the easiest when you're drinkin' and hangin' out with friends.
