In Which We Throw a Virtual Party

Howdy friends! How are you? We sure are enjoying this spate of arguably-springlike weather we're havin', and it's even more welcome considering that it's hot on the heels of the production delay* we suffered last week due to that other weird weather.** And dang, but it sure would be fitting if we were comin' up on a nonsensical holiday about dealing with nonsense...

And as luck would have it, we have just the holiday for the occasion and it's Kafka Day! This day started as a way for us to blow off a little steam after some particularly... interesting interactions with our local government (and also to celebrate the opening of our expanded brewery/taproom), but now that the world's weirdness dial seems to be permanently stuck on "fever dream," we figured we'd bring back our odd, pointless holiday (virtually this time) and it starts this weekend!

On Friday we'll be hosting a vertical tasting that includes three barrel-aged vintages of El Pulpo (plus one unbarreled version for comparison)! You can still buy tickets, so we encourage you to join us!

Then on Saturday we're doin' up some beer and Girl Scout Cookie pairings! A ticket gets you a mixed four pack of beers, plus a buncha cookies (in four different varieties, of course), and we'll be gettin' on the Zooms on Saturday evening if you wanna eat cookies and drink beer and hang out with us!

Then next Friday we're keepin' the party rollin' and this time it's a beer dinner with Brato! In keeping with the spirit of the holiday, the theme of the dinner is "unlikely pairings" and whoa nelly is it gonna get interesting. Brato cooked up a menu fulla fusion foods, and we dreamed up some rad beer pairings, and we're cappin' off the beers of the evening with a brand new barrel-aged beer and it's gonna be fun and you should come hang out!

But wait! We're not done! Next Saturday we'll be doin' more beer and cookie pairings! This time around it'll be four different cookies, plus four different beers to pair with them, plus more virtual hangouts (and then probably a nap, but that part's optional)!

* Our yeast supplier is located in Colorado, and FedEx apparently told them not to ship anything for the whole week last week because of Problems. 
** Not that "not brewing for a couple days" is a big deal compared to the other problems caused by said weather, but still.
