Oh hi there! We done had us another routine week of the daily grind down here at the ol' beer factory - haulin' grains and stirrin' mashes and fillin' kegs and tryin' our damnedest not to get too many weird chemicals in our eyes;* all in the name of making sure that the fine folks in our fair city/general metropolitan area get the freshest and tastiest of suds to sip on!
Shut Up!
And our efforts have not gone unrewarded - thanks to a few marathon sessions of growler filling and keg delivering, you can get fresh-as-heck Bone Up brews in a wide variety** of the finer establishments in and around Boston!*** That's one hell of a great feeling for us, considering that just a few short months ago we didn't even know when we'd be allowed to brew. And now we're on tap in bars that we used to go to back when we had free time!
They grow up so fast.
Speaking of which, in some news that's near and dear to our hearts in a couple ways - we're unleashing Key Lime White on the world this weekend at Social Wines in South Boston! We'll be dolin' out samples in the delightful embrace of some sweet sweet air conditioning,**** and this'll be your first chance to try Key Lime! So come on by and grab a growler for all those fun summer outings like barbecues or drinking on your front stoop (and for those of you that still aren't completely sold on the whole "fruity white beer that's honestly not all that white" thing, we'll also be pouring Warehouse and Black Witow).
We know you've got rainbow beach balls to chase and leftover fireworks to burn your fingertips with, but consider how much better those things would be with our beer in tow!
And I gotta say, we're pretty stoked for this - not only is Key Lime the first of our four planned year-round beers, but we get to release it at our own neighborhood liquor store! That may or may not sound like a big deal, but Social Wines is where we've been buying beer for years; and every time we did, we'd stare longingly at the shelves and determinedly mutter (occasionally to the surprise of those within earshot) "some day, my beer is gonna be on that shelf." And now it is! Holy hell!
Can't beat that packagin' date.
* With what I'll call "modest success."
** By "wide variety" I clearly mean both bars AND liquor stores.
*** Though it skews pretty heavily towards the areas north of the city, since that's where we're located.
