Hey all y'all, it's finally fall and if you're expecting us to have fun treats then you're on the ball!
First off - hot on the heels of last week's Bullhead release (and we'd like to give a heartfelt Thank You to everybody who braved the lake in our parking lot* to come out during the "hurricane"), we've got some Jimbo Jaliper for you! We took the recipe for a spicy rye saison, kicked it up a notch, and then dry hopped it until everything turned green! Unlike a lot of our other offerings, this is a tastebud-rockin', strong-ass heck beast of a beer, and we certainly predict you gon' enjoy this one. It'll be tapped Friday at noon!

Speaking of things that y'all enjoy - our (admittedly somewhat limited) game selection has been gettin' lots of love from the git go, so we're workin' on expanding it! We've got plenty of new shelf space - courtesy of our in-house master craftsman T-Bone** - so we loaded up all the games we got (as well as a bunch of books***), and we've got more on the way! As always, we've got some ideas up our collective sleeves, but we're always open to suggestion!
Our library runs the gamut from, "Oh man, classic!" to "Heard about this!" to "Why does this exist?" Enjoy!
Hey homebrewers! Next Tuesday, we're hosting an open house of sorts with our friends over at Modern Homebrew Emporium. If you're an aspiring, casual, or serious homebrewer, come on out to our Homebrewer's Night for a special behind the scenes gander at our operation! We'll be giving a tour of the production area (all ten square feet of it!) and answering all (most) of your nerdy questions. Flights 'n pints will be available, and we'll probably order up a whole buncha pizza for your faceholes. Come on out, it'll be fun!
Even if you ain't a homebrewer, you're welcome to come on in for growler fills and a quick weeknight pint!
And speaking of fun things, this weekend we brewed up our special beer for the Original Gravity concert at the end o' the month, and hoo boy were there some good smells wafting through our lil' brewery. In addition to the standard olfactory delights of freshly milled grains and just-popped bags o' hops, we chopped up several pounds of fresh ginger and threw it into our brew. Get ready for Ginger Spectacular Farmhouse Ale - we're super excited to share it with you! And last, but certainly not least, we are throwin' another shindig with our boozy neighbors at the end of the month: the Fermentation District's first annual Howloween Block Party will be rockin' all day on Saturday, 10/29 with music, food trucks, and of course appropriately themed beer and cocktails. Down on our end of the block, we're pairin' up our beers with our favorite Halloween candies! The Bonetown Burgers truck will be slingin' patties in our lot from 5-10pm to catch you on your way down from the sugar high, and we're working on a badass playlist**** to keep the sounds sinister all day.

* This week marks the six-month anniversary of us getting told that we'd have storm drains in the lot "next week." So hopefully that will be resolved before it gets too cold to fix (or, slightly more realistically, before the heat death of the universe).
** Also known as The Guy Who Built Our Bar. Or. more commonly: Jared's Dad.
*** Since we've been asked a time or two: the taproom library has a fairly liberal lending policy. Most of the books out there have been donations (often but not always by us), so feel free to borrow if you see fit, especially if you plan on donating some old books/games of your own (or, y'know, returning what you borrow).
****Currently, it's Legacy of Brutality on repeat, and we're sorta okay with that.
