(I can tell you we were promised nachos and meatballs and possibly meatball nachos.)
Howdy howdy howdy! It's almost time for our dang ol' dog party, but before we can get to all that we gotta get through a whole buncha other fun stuff and some tasty beers (and maybe some tasty new beers if you're good). Life can be hard sometimes, but hey - that's why cask ale was invented. Is it Fake NERAX time yet or what Did somebody say cask? Because we got a cask goin' on this Thursday (much like we do most Thursdays, now that you mention it) and this time around it's toasty ol' Rufus! Ain't much I need to say about Rufus so there ain't much I'm gonna say except that it gon' be tasty! We're bettin' all that chocolately, biscuity goodness is gonna be dialed up to 11. Then we're keepin' up the hip haps on Friday with the release of Wellington! What's Wellington, you ask? It's a hoppy beer! And who doesn't like hoppy beer? (Maybe jerks? I dunno, we're not in the business of knowing what jerks like) Anyway we teamed up with our landlords from our apartment building and suckered them into doing all our work for us and now we have this thing! It's a bit more on the hazy/hoppy/juicy end of the spectrum than we usually go, but hey sometimes you just gotta jam a buncha lupulin all up in there And to go along with that ol' new beer on Friday, we're bringin' in an old favorite for food: Matilda's! They'll be here for the evening doin' what they do best and what they do best is make pastelitos and we're gonna eat some! GUH And then Saturday is the day we've all been waiting for: the release of yet another beer named after a building! There's also the dog party (we'll get to that, keep your shirt on), but we collabbed up some collab times with our friends from T'ahpas 529 and brewed up a tasty lil' sneaky-strong hoppy farmhouse with passionfruit and it's named Los Aromos!* Say it. It's really fun to say! And since we're releasin' that beer on Saturday, we're bringin' in T'ahpas for food from 3 - 8! Their food is tasty as heck and if they don't bring something to pair with the beer we made for/with them we will do what we always do and just pretend that they did because that's apparently how manners works. Definitely the menu they are bringing and not a picture we borrowed from their Instagram. (I can tell you we were promised nachos and meatballs and possibly meatball nachos.) Anyway, also on Saturday we're havin' our dog party! We'll be settin' up shop "beer garden" style (i.e. out in the parking lot) and there's gonna be a dog costume contest (with prizes! But not trophies because it turns out those are pretty hard to get on short notice!) and PolkaDog Bakery will have treats and toys and Beast Coast Design will have treats and fun dog merch and Northeast Animal Shelter will be settin' up shop (they said they might bring dogs but we don't know if they'll be able to bring dogs) and we've got a dog-themed beer on tap (and on cask! Probably!) and it's gonna be a ton of fun and you should join us! I mean, Lilly's gonna be there in her pineapple suit. And then on Sunday we're mixin' things up a bit with Halloween Yoga! It's an all-levels class and you're encouraged to come in costume which sounds pretty rad albeit it might make yoga a bit more complicated if you're one of those people who dresses up as, like, post-transformation Violet Beauregarde or whatever, but also that would be very entertaining to watch so you should definitely do that! Anyway it'll be a fun time and tickets come with a flight or a full pour, so come get your yoga on! Tickets are still available here: Halloween Yoga Oh! And! One more thing! We are now offering cheese plates daily in our taproom! We’ll still host our monthly cheese and beer pairings, but we just can’t wait weeks in between Cheese Time anymore (and we know you can’t either), so we’ll have a featured cheese or two every month from a local farm served with some crackers and treats, and we’re kicking off this program with two wonderful cheeses from Couet Farm Dudley, MA - Evelina and Karolina. Ask for a plate next time you're in the taproom! The snack menu embiggens! * No, it doesn't mean "the aromas." Yes, we had to look it up to be sure.
