The time is almost upon us! We've got a weekend (and then some) ahead of us that's so chock full o' Good Times, even the most stalwart sourpuss amongst us will be able to find something to enjoy. So read on, and hear tell of our Smorgasbord O' Fun Things To Come.
To kick things off, we're opening on an off-day for a hella special event on Thursday (that is to say, tomorrow the 27th) - namely, an intimate evening of solo performances penned by local composers, all organized by Original Gravity! And if that* don't pique your interest, we'll also be releasing a brand-spankin'-new beer for the event! Given the... cozy nature of our taproom, seating is a bit limited, so grab some tickets if they're still around!

Contrary to what this image might suggest, we don't think TechnoHamlet will be making an appearance.
And hot on the heels of that delightful event, our tastebuds are tinglin' in anticipation of pierogi prepared by Jaju! Things get in gear right around six o'clock, and we have it on good authority that there'll be plenty o' food for your face, so come hungry and be prepared to waddle on outta' here stuffed to the gills with tasty eats and delicious drinkables!
We contemplated making a blue ribbon for the person who stuffs the most dumplings into their face. And by "contemplated" I mean "just thought of right now after it's already too late."
For the penultimate day of our Weekend O' Fun, we're having a block party** with our neighbors! And as we mentioned last week, we've mostly been preparing by buying a kind of gross amount of candy and then eating it all, but we've got other things in store! For starters, the Bone Town Burgers truck will be parked in our lot for an amount of time that I don't feel like looking up (for clarity's sake, we'll just call it "the evening"), and we're gonna do a bunch of weird crap to our beer! In the spirit of sweets, we'll be offerin' vanilla sugar rims*** for pints of Key Lime! And, if sweet isn't quite your speed, we got our grubby little paws on some spray bottles of hop oil, and if you ask nicely we'll spray the shit outta your glass before we fill it!

And lastly, on Sunday, we'll allow you to sit quietly and enjoy a pint or five without having to deal with a bunch of crazy halloween crap or people yelling at sports (did you know we have a "No TVs" policy?). We'll probably still have a bunch of candy (and we'll probably be kind of embarrassed about how much we ate over the weekend, so it'll be up for grabs), and we'll probably still have vanilla sugar and hop oil. But mostly we'll have a cozy, relaxing taproom where you can come down from your sugar high and maybe finish digesting that mountain of pierogi, all accompanied by the soothing sounds of heavy metal music played at elevator music volumes.
* We're told the night will prominently feature bass flute solos, which we didn't even know was a thing until recently.
