Hello again! We are, as always, hard at work bringin' you the delicious drinks and tasty treats and buckets of chuckles, and this week's gon' be a doozy!
Thursday We've got three - that's right, three - beer releases for you! And if you're in a snackin' mood, we'll (as always) have slices from Sillari's!
What beers are we releasing, you ask? First off is that strong ale* we've been talkin' about for a little while now - Beer of Truth! We also decided to mix it up on the single hop front in order to bring you Idaho 7** Single Hop Saison! And last but far from least, a beer an an oft-requested (yet still somehow underappreciated) style, Lawbringer Session Brown!

Part Belgian Strong, part English Barleywine, part glassful of nap, the Beer of Truth will shine its light upon you and reveal what you are truly made of (odds are, it will reveal that you are made of somebody who really wants pizza right now).
We're takin' a quick interlude from the pale ale series to bring you this tasty little beast: this here's a straight up saison with a little wheat and a whole lotta Idaho 7 hops!
It's a brown ale. It's brown. But seriously though, we like to keep somethin' malty, dry, and a little roasty kickin' around, so we brewed up this humble lil' ale!
Speaking of beers and Thursday, if you've got a hankerin' to get your growler on but don't feel like swingin' on through Everett, we'll be at Wine Press in Brookline from 6-8 pourin' two of our new beers (Idaho 7 and Lawbringer) plus two old favorites (Extra Naked and Shut Up Kelly!).

Saturday, Chubby Chickpea is swingin' through the taproom from 2-8! We'll admit we're not as familiar with their menu as we should be (though that's gonna change right soon), but we've seen their dishes make Falafel Believers outta a skeptic or two, so we're hella pumped! And on top of that, we'll be slingin' pretzels with beer cheese and mustard all day (until they sell out - and we've started ordering more to prevent that from happening by three in the dang afternoon every day).
Oh man are we excited to get our falafel on
Sunday is a normal-ass Sunday around here, which means pretzels and cupcakes and beer - usually accompanied by the dulcet tones of thrash metal being played softly in the background - so come on by and get your relax on!

As for notes from the production floor, we figured we'd clear the air a bit about this whole "cask situation" that we "have on listed our blackboard" and "keep getting asked about" because we've "provided no substantive information." Well, the short version is that we're in the process of introducing beer on cask (which you probably could have guessed already), and the long version is that it's been in real, actual motion for a little over a week now but it still kinda looks like nothing's happened because it takes a couple weeks for casks to get ready. So. We're aiming to start on the slow side as we work out the kinks and/or gauge interest (and/or find a better place to mount our beer engine, and/or acquire a beer engine instead of just borrowing Randy's), which means we'll be throwin' on a pin once a month or so - tapping on Thursday and removing from service when it kicks or when the weekend ends (casks get kinda nasty if they're on tap for longer). So keep your eyes peeled - we've got Chance*** in a cask, and we're aimin' to tap that mamma jamma next week!

* The more eagle-eyed among you may have noticed that we were previously referring to it as a barleywine. Long story short: this beer really brought out our yeast's Belgian heritage (not unlike how people who used to have regional accents will gain them back when they start drinkin'), so we figured this was a more fitting style name.
** This hop was apparently renamed to "007: The Golden Hop" but we like the old name better.
