Hi kids! We've got some spooktacular news that you've probably already heard! Thassright - we got us some new tanks this past week and we are just itchin to fill 'em up with tasty beers for you to enjoy!
Tank day (also known as get up at 6:30 and move a literal ton of metal day)!
And for what it's worth (and since we been asked a time or two), these bad mamma jammas are upgrades/replacements for existing equipment (i.e. they're 3.5BBL tanks just like our other ones) which means we ain't gonna be pumpin' more beer out (at least not until we get our next round of new tanks). But that ain't mean this ain't cause to celebrate! We're sayin' goodbye to two of our OG fermentors - Lemmy and Glenn - and replacin' 'em with their sturdier stainless doppelgängers! But you ain't gotta take our word for it that these are some sweet-ass tanks - check 'em out for yourselves!
We hope they play nice together.
And while we're waitin' for our new stainless beauties to get plumbed and wired and cleaned and passivated and sanitized and filled and then emptied (into kegs), we've got some fun times lined up to pass the time!
Startin' out this Thursday we're bustin' out a cask just like old times, and this time it's staff-favorite So Nude that's revvin' up our beer engine! And for your tasting pleasure, we've added a bunch of Pepite dry hops to the cask, so as to compliment the Pepite wet hops! You are in for some tasty times.
How nude? Soooo nude.
Staff-favorite Bullhead returns to the taps on Thursday as well! Our twist on a classic style is made to showcase the toasty breadiness of good ol' Blue Ox grains as well as some freshass fruity hoppiness from our friends at Four Star Farms, giving you the overall impression of jam on toast. This crisp, malty masterpiece ain't gonna disappoint - Prost!

Then on Friday we've got Buenas Empanadas comin' back through with delicious treats! Snacks snacks snacks. Snacks!

And for those of you who like to look a little farther into the future (or should I say brewture oh god I'm so sorry please don't fire me), at the end of the month we're tappin' a blast from the past with a spooktacular spin: Purple Smoothie Purple IPA!** Thassright, our bag o' misfit hops done filled up again so we cooked up a big ol' bruiser of a DIPA and then somebody - we can't remember who so we'll just put the blame for this on our cellarman Ben - asked "why don't we make it purple?" So we threw in a buncha fun purple stuff! We're releasing this beast on Friday, October 27 at 5pm to kick off this year's Halloween bash*** so come on out and get your purple on!

And! Since our Halloween bash is arch-enemies themed, we've got another beer release - one that's about as far from a purple IPA as you can get - that same dang ol' weekend! It's gonna be a nice 'n' malty (yet still dry and drinkable) brown ale that we're callin' Mo'Biscuits! And as an added bonus - since we like to cram as much stuff as possible into any given weekend - this beer is being released in cooperation with The Movember Foundation! So in a few weeks, you should come on out and twirl your mustache while cackling diabolically and/or contributing to a good cause!
