Well hey there! Another Presidents Day Weekend has come and gone and we celebrated just like the Founding Fathers intended (by getting a great deal on a new or used Toyota) - it was a heck of a weekend, and we got the holes in our draft list to prove it (we're down to "only" eight beers on tap). And flights still lookin' handsome as ever! While we did shed a single tear in farewell for some of our beloved favorites on tap, we've got some good news! Our friends down at Maverick Cafe commissioned a cask of The Monarch back when it was still but a gleam in our eyes, and now that cask is ready for action! So if you're lookin' for a Monarch fix - especially one with extra dry hops* - swing on by Maverick Cafe on Thursday March 2! It's gon' be good Speaking of beer and/or foods and/or weekends, our new friends at Roadie's Diner weren't able to make it last week due to some sort of truck-related issue, so they decided to make it up to us by showin' up pretty much every dang Friday in March! So now March is apparently the Month of the Cuban Sandwich down here at Bone Up, which of course means you should swing on by (ideally laden with a contribution to Hot Sauce Nation) and get your grub on! And as a snacktacular, spectacular appetizer, we'll be rockin' with Bonetown Burgers this Friday in the taproom! And what a sandwich it is And while we're on the subject of things that got cancelled/postponed because of Problems, we're doing a tasting at Wine Press in Brookline this Thursday! For real this time! Unless we get a foot of snow again! And while we're on the subject of tastings, we got invited to a taco fiesta in Somerville! On Thursday, 3/9, we'll be slingin' beers and tacos with Exhibit 'A', Brazo Fuerte, and Lamplighter Brewing at Cuisine en Locale from 7-11 to the dulcet sounds of Keytar Bear, all while raising money to benefit the new Somerville Pet Food Bank. Woo! Good causes! Tacos! Get your tickets here: Mass Hysteria: Local Beer and Taco Fiesta As always, we are both honored and confused to be invited places * Before you ask: I don't remember what we used.
