When is the taproom opening?
Saturday, August 27th at noon, and we'll be pouring until 11pm!
Will there be food?
Yes indeedy! We don't have a kitchen, but that ain't gonna stop us! On Opening Day we'll have the good folks from Bonetown Burgers parkin' their truck in our lot and servin' up some dang delicious grub. And if you don't feel like walking all the way out to the parking lot (or if you come at some other time), we'll have some small snacks available at the bar.
Is there parking?
We've got a dozen or so spots in the lot, and there are usually plenty of street spots on the weekend!
Are you T-accessible?
Yes! The closest stop is Wellington, which is about a twenty minute walk (ten if you walk like Jimbo).
What are your hours?
For now, we'll just be doing Fridays and Saturdays from noon until eleven, but we'll be expanding that as soon as humanly possible (starting with Sundays, most likey). We're excited to be open as much as possible, but before we can do that we'll probably need to take care of a few minor details like "having staff."
Speaking of staff, are you hiring?
We sure are!* We're looking for people to work some weekend shifts front-of-house, so drop us a line at info@boneup.beer if you're lookin'!
Wait, why aren't you open on Sundays?
Short answer? Because it's summer. We currently brew on Sundays, and even with all our giant ventilation systems, it gets hot as the dickens in there, which ain't exactly a relaxing environment to kick back with a pint. But if y'all really wanna come in and grab some beer on a Sunday, we'll grab some extra fans and get in gear on makin' that a reality!
Do you have outdoor seating?
Not yet, I'm afraid. We're are supposed to be getting a patio at some point, but that won't be around until the beginning of next year's Outdoor Drinkin' Season at the earliest.** As for that lovely, inviting slab o' concrete out front, that's sadly just a Patio Tease. Among other things, that's the only working loading dock for the building and it kind of kills the whole laid-back/non-deadly vibe when a truck drops its lift gate on your table.
Do you have air conditioning?
We unfortunately don't have that yet either (it's been an interesting summer, to say the least), but we are workin' on it! ...
Can I host my private event at your brewery?
If it's after the 27th, and it's not on a weekend, sure! Just drop us a line and we'll figure something out!
If you get the chance, please take a minute to RSVP on our Eventbrite page - we're trying to get any semblance of an idea of how many people to expect. We can't wait to see you there!
**And based on the turnaround time of other projects in our fair kingdom, even that's pretty optimistic.
