Howdy campers! We're but a mere DAY away from our long-awaited birthday party and we're pretty much so excited we can't sit still but we've got business to get down to so let's saddle up them brass tacks and grab the bull by the beak and get on with it!
One! More! Sleep!
And our first order of business is, somehow, more friggin' beers. Thassright, we got ourselves on a roll and decided (for some reason) that brewing beers for each of the bands at the party wouldn't be enough, so here's some more!
SQUAD GOALS
And first on that ol' listicle is our collaboration beer with Silvaticus: Rumble Royale! We've been fans of their beer for a while now, so we set up some meetings and shared the fruits of our respective labors and came up with a tasty-as-hell barrel-aged blend that brings out the best qualities from both of our beers and it's in bottles Thursday and we've got a limited quantity so we suggest y'all get while there's gettin' to be got!
We seriously loved being in cahoots with these guys for a few months. The blend came out AWESOME
And speaking of beers in bottles, we had the ol' bottling rig out anyway so we figured we'd bottle up a funky lil' delight that's slated for draft in the fall and that beer is Critters XVIII! This one's a funky/fruity brown ale that's completely complex as hell (tasting notes include brown bread and quince, which is a better combo than you might think) and it's also available in bottles Thursday and we hereby invite all funk fans to check it out!

And while we're on the subject we do have to point out (again) that our anniversary party is THIS FRIGGIN' WEEKEND but also you're probably tired of hearing us shout about our anniversary party by now, so we'll keep this short and sweet: we've got tons of great beer* and rad tunes and tasty food and cool swag and fun times lined up for you all weekend, and we're certain it's gonna be a blast! It's our absolute favorite weekend** of the year and a big part of that is because it means we get to hang out with all the coolest people we know all at once, and we sure as hell hope you'll join us because we'd love to share a beer with you!

And since we're all about keepin' the fun times rollin' even after the Big Event, it behooves us forthwith to point out that we've got Misfits-themed trivia next Thursday! We'll be doin' a deep dive on the adventures of the adventures of Danny Glegg or whoever and anyway it's gonna be a good time and there's gonna be weird prizes and you should come out!

And also we might be jumping the gun a little but we thought you might want to know that sushi classes start up again next month! We're gonna have Chef Harold back in the house on the regular starting mid-month and it seems like a blast and we recommend you check it out if you haven't already! HAROOOOOLD
* If you're a little generous with how you count, we brewed/blended NINETEEN beers for this weekend (fifteen bands, plus one band that dropped out but still got a beer, plus one for the band that's not a "real band," plus a collab with another brewery, plus another Critters release just for laughs). Gonna be tough to top that next year, but we said that last year when we "only" had eleven beers.
