Well hey there! It's that time again to get into all the cool stuff we got goin' on and we got some new beers for y'all and honestly how in the hell do we have more new beers. We made so many beers for that party. And now there are more. How.

But before we get to all that new beer we're gonna start with a bit of a twist and that's cask! More to the point, it's Extra Naked (the best ever beer on cask, a beer which has appeared on cask at the dang GBBF, which is still exciting/baffling to us, but that's a different story) and we juiced it up with some juicy ol' BRU-1 (which is... not a good name for a hop. There are some bad hop names out there, and this is one of them) and it's slated to get tapped in our regular cask tappin' timeslot and that's Thursday and you should come have some with us!

Anyway the first new beer what we got is a bit of a "secret beer" that we "have by accident" because we are "bad at planning." Anyway it's an Extremely Limited Release (there's, like, one keg of it) which means we don't care too much if it has an extremely stupid name* and that's why we're callin' it Pumpkin Humor! As you may remember from a previous blog post, Dark Humor is a blend of two beers - one is a vanilla-cinnamon stout (which was also released under the name Dark Humor, but that was a year ago) with the other being a spice-forward pumpkin stout. Anyway we had a little extra of that spice-forward pumpkin stout and it's pretty durn tasty so we figured we'd just tap it and see what happens and what happened is it's on tap right now!

And movin' right along, we've somehow got another dang ol' new beer! This one's a wedding beer** that we made for former/kind-of-current employee (and/or one of our DIY "sound engineers" for the anniversary party) JackJohn and his lovely wife Kelly (not that Kelly) and it's a lovely lil' hoppy saison and also this might be the first beer we've made that features a cat on the label and anyway it's tasty as hell and it's available in cans right now and you should have some!

Anyway, gettin' on to the doin', we've got some fun stuff for you to do! And first on that list - this Thursday to be precise - is Simpsons Trivia! We're still doin' the season-by-season thing (this might be the last month for the season-by-season thing? Unclear) which means this month's theme is Season Nine and it's gonna be a hoot and you should come hang out!
And then on Friday we ain't got no big event but we do have two awesome food vendors comin' by! We've got HotChix in the house dishin' up some tasty hot chicken sandwiches, and then to cool the burn we've got Blanche's Ice Cream comin' by! If there's a better way to spend your Friday night than drinking beer and eating fried chicken and ice cream, I sure haven't heard of it.
And then on Friday we ain't got no big event but we do have two awesome food vendors comin' by! We've got HotChix in the house dishin' up some tasty hot chicken sandwiches, and then to cool the burn we've got Blanche's Ice Cream comin' by! If there's a better way to spend your Friday night than drinking beer and eating fried chicken and ice cream, I sure haven't heard of it.

And then on Saturday we've got our harvest market! We're bringin' in a buncha rad vendors - namely Joyberry Farms (mushrooms), Drive-By Pies (sweet and savory pies), Craig Sauce (hot sauce), and Valicenti Pasta Farm (fresh pasta and small batch sauces) - and they're gonna be settin' up in the beer garden and slingin' their wares and it's gonna be a hell of a time, so come on out!

And movin' on to Sunday we've got the delightful folks from Biscuitdrop back for brunch times! And then later in the day is our first sushi class of the year! Yes indeedy, Chef Harold will be settin' up in our side room and schoolin' people on how to get their maki on and we'll be doin' these twice a week (Wednesdays and Sundays) for a while which means there's really no excuse not to come to one! And looking a little farther into the future, we've got 80s/90s Pop Culture Trivia Night next Wednesday and Beer Mug Painting next Thursday and Beer Garden Yoga next Saturday and also a bunch more cool stuff but that's all the stuff that requires tickets and/or planning (and/or it's stuff that's happening the same day we publish the blog).

Oh! And! If you happen to be out and/or about somewhere other than our brewery in the next few weeks (not sure why you would go anywhere else, but that's beside the point), we'll be at a couple upcoming fests! We'll be at Ales & Tales at the Stone Zoo this Saturday and then we'll be poppin' by the Dedham Museum for Tavern Night next Friday and then we're schleppin' up to Gloucester for the Blackburn Brew Fest next Saturday! Anyway the point is that these events will be fun as hell and you should swing by if you're in the area!
