Howdy, all! We got a big ol' weekend crammed fulla good times and good beers and fried foods for y'all, so throw on your fanciest eatin' pants and come hunker down with us as we all collectively wonder when the hell winter's gonna be over already.* Thanks to our lack of windows, Bone Up is (and always has been) seasonally agnostic. Snow? WHAT SNOW First up on the docket is something that actually happened several days ago without much fanfare: the (re)release of our mild, Ruby Rye! We originally brewed this beer so we'd have a darker beer on tap during warmer times because we do stuff like that around here, but something about it has left us with a cold hankerin' for these past weeks and months, so we have it again! Right now! Plus, it's the Best Ever on cask! NERAX, here we come! And speaking of things that are comin' back on tap: after a hefty ten-day hiatus, Stag is back! Party times! We made some Tap Handles of Friendship for Gulu-Gulu to go along with this batch! Plus, on Friday, we've got our friends from Matilda's comin' through with some hot empanada action! They're so tasty, you guys. We gon' eat the heck outta these and their deep fried ooey-gooey goodness. Utensil-free eating for your active lifestyle And on Saturday we've got more food-that-is-its-own-packaging deliciousness with the return of Spoko Pierogi! Last time they were here we ate until we felt kind of gross and then kept going somehow, so if that happens to you don't say we didn't warn you. And if you're lookin' for the "hot deets" on our "expansion progress," you'll probably be "unsurprised" to learn that it's "going slowly." It's still mostly painting and organizing, and it will be for a little ways, but we knew that. But! We're on the cusp of a potential breakthrough that might get us one step closer to finding out who we need to contact in order to find out what we need to do in order to get an appointment with the person who can tell us which forms to file in order to apply for the first of the permits we need! In other words we have a hearing with the city on Monday. Bureaucracy! * We know it's gonna be mid May, but we can dream.
